How to play Judgement (Kachuful)

  1. No deck needed — everyone's hand is on their own phone.
  2. Before each round you bid exactly how many tricks you will take. Not more, not fewer.
  3. Only legal cards can be tapped, and the app says why one is greyed out, so somebody new can learn while playing.

An example

You have seven cards and diamonds are trumps — the biggest hand of the round ladder. You bid 2. Take exactly two tricks and you score 10 + 2 = 12. Take one, or three, and you score nothing — which is why deliberately losing a trick you could win is often the right move.
