NUMBER MATCH

Dealing the numbers…

How to play Number Match

  1. Tap two numbers to clear them both. A pair works if the two are the same, or if they add up to ten.
  2. They also have to be next to each other β€” side by side, one above the other, diagonal, or simply the next one along when you read the grid like a book. Cleared squares do not get in the way, so the board keeps opening up.
  3. Stuck? Add rows copies whatever is left onto the bottom, which gives you new neighbours. You get a limited number of those, so it is a real decision.
  4. Clear the whole board to win.

An example

A row reads 7 Β· 3 Β· 5. The 7 and the 3 are side by side and add up to ten, so tap both and they go. Now the 5 has a new neighbour β€” whatever sits to the left of where the 7 was β€” because the cleared squares stop counting. That is the whole trick: every pair you take creates the next one.
