TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

Reading the room…

How to play Two Truths and a Lie

  1. Write three things about yourself — two true, one invented — and tell your phone which is which.
  2. Everyone writes at the same time, so nobody waits.
  3. Then one person's three appear at a time and the rest of the table votes on which is the lie.

An example

You write “I have been to Ladakh”, “I once met a Test cricketer” and “I can juggle”, and mark juggling as the lie. Your phone shuffles them before anyone sees them, so the lie is no longer sitting third — which is how tables usually work this game out by round two.
