How to play Word Ladder

  1. Get from the first word to the last by changing one letter at a time.
  2. Every rung in between has to be a real word — you cannot pass through nonsense.
  3. A new ladder every day, plus endless practice ones. A shorter route than ours counts for more.

An example

COLD → CORD → WORD → WARD → WARM. Each step moves exactly one letter — L to R, C to W, O to A, D to M — and every one of those four is a real word, which is the hard part. Get stuck and Show me gives you a way there from wherever you have reached.
